Average Weighing

The XLogix Average Weighing module provides Food and Beverage manufacturers with a flexible solution for capturing and monitoring average weight. Fully compliant with the Weights & Measures regulations for packaged goods (2006), XLogix offers solutions for both in-line and off-line weight checks.

The basis of the XLogix average weight calculation are tolerances. Users are able to set up and configure the Tolerable Negative Error (TNE) to suit their weight checking requirements. The TNE is then used as the base figure within XLogix for average weight calculations.

The easy to use, procedure driven on-screen prompts, guide the operator through the check weighing process vastly reducing the possibility of errors. Recorded data may optionally be integrated with the SPC module which is used to provide the input for triggering exception Alerts for non -conformance.

A comprehensive set of reports is available together with graphical charts for audit purposes.
