Bill of Materials
The foundation of any manufacturing system is its product definition function, or Bill of Materials. Product structures must be defined, usually on a multi-level basis, along with the instructions for how to build the manufactured item.
The XLogix Bill of Materials module will help you define, manage, and analyze the products your company produces in terms of both content and cost.
User friendly “explorer” navigation allows users to move up and down the BoM in a single screen view. XLogix employs the concept of a Bill of Materials method. This enables users to construct different version of a Bill of Materials. This facility is useful where, for example, an alternative BoM is necessary for substitute or alternative parts.
