Goods Receipt
Receipting of goods is the process where deliveries are optionally logged in and then formally checked into the stores or warehouse. A wide range of receipt types are catered for, i.e. purchase orders, customer returns, unplanned receipts etc.The receipt process can also be Integrated into the QA process incorporating Traceability. This information on a Part-by-Part basis could encompass:
- Supplier batch details
- Best before date
- Country or origin
- Date / code tracking
- Other user defined date tracking
Receipting also provides the facility to print goods received notes with or without bar codes together with pre-defined labels for identification purposes. Operation of the goods receiving process can be managed via networked PC’s and Touchscreens or hand-held mobile devices utilising a wireless network
