Purchase Order Processing
The purchasing operation in any business is one of the areas where potential cost savings can be achieved. This can only happen by providing a quick and easy solution to purchase order processing and procurement, allowing the purchasing team time to assess new suppliers and economic purchase quantities.
The system can be used to generate suggested order reports based on a pre-set minimum stocking quantity, or calculate one based on historical usage and a number of days cover required. Purchase orders may also be raised directly from a sales requirement i.e. “back to back”.
A range of supplier information can be stored including: supplier product codes, prices / discounts and supplier contact details. Discrete and scheduled purchase orders can be raised together with the ability to classify the type of purchase order i.e. production, maintenance, miscellaneous etc.
The comprehensive reporting suite has the ability to report on overdue orders, analyse supplier performance and report on commitment for GRNI’s. Design your own layouts for external documentation and optionally show supplier product codes as well as your own to avoid mistakes on deliveries. The Charting module can be used to show graphical representation of detailed purchase order analysis and overall supplier performance.
